a cat's makeover

Hadleigh's friend came over after school on Thursday.  They had soccer practice that night, so we took her friend with us.  

I noticed that they had been quiet and after a little while, that Sweetie had a new look.   I found out that the girls gave her a makeover. 

I took this photo of Sweetie exactly a year ago.  Here she is before.

Sawyer is your youngest, right? And he'll be 6? (i think i saw that on facebook). Are you having a big party for him or just a family party? Any theme to the party? I can't wait til we have kids to do all that fun stuff with them. I love to entertain and do party stuff!

Oh... decluttering and purging really sounds good right now. I hope to do a little of that when we move from the apartment to the house, but that is mainly the essentials that we have there, so I might need to wait until we actually move in so i don't get rid of something i might need. I don't know about you. But i love to be organized and i feel really out of it when i'm not and i always look for new and fun ways to organize our stuff.

Well, now I'm trying to figure out if i can privately comment on a comment, but it's not looking good. I'll have to put more time into it when i'm at work tomorrow and see if i can figure it out! haha.

I hope by the time we have kids I learn how to make cakes. That is something that I haven't really tried my hand at. Someday. Robots.. what a fun theme! And fun colors! Do you get a lot of stuff from Etsy? I have found so many fun and interesting things on there. Some day when we have a little bit of money again (haha... will that ever be?) but there are some art pieces and just some fun stuff that I'd love to get from people on there. Oh.. have you been to the website Bake it Pretty? I have a link to it on the side of my page. It's just some fun stuff for baking... cupcake liners, candles, etc that are just not what you find in the store!

I feel you on the organization part. Right now, I feel really out of it, like I feel like I’ve gone off the deep end.. nothing is organized in the apartment and I just want to start packing things up but feel like it’s a little too early for that. But I keep telling myself that once the house is done, I can get back to normal! hehe. Let me know when you have the garage sale! I would LOVE to come! =) And I do NOT blame you for wanting to sell your stuff. It makes complete sense. As much as it's nice to give it away... there is something about getting some money back for the stuff you bought. You have a parlor? That just sounds so fun! I'm jealous!
