We are still doing soccer, and I just love taking pictures and looking later to see their expressions in the photos. These photos are from a couple week's worth of games.
Ashton is at such a weird angle in this photo. They were playing the other team from our town for the first time, so it was fun to see friends playing against each other.
I liked seeing both teams lined up along the sideline as the ref checked their shin guards and cleats.
While we were watching Ashton's game, I turned around to find Sawyer doing this!! The people in the background look closer than they actually are and he was in this small ravine type area behind us. I couldn't believe it and had to take a picture before I yelled at him.
Hadleigh had her last horse show on Sept. 27th. She rode Skeeter. As she was schooling him and learning her course, he refused a jump and she fell. She was okay, and got back on and tried again, and he refused again and she fell. Her instructor/stable owner got on him and made him go over, but he was giving her some problems too. She made him do it a few times and then Hadleigh got back on and did it and he was fine. She was nervous and so was I for the show, and he did it fine for the first class, but refused one in the second class. She didn't fall and she made him do it and he did it the second time. She still placed and won 5th and 6th places.
These were the jumps that he didn't want to go over. He wasn't digging the straw bales. lol
I thought this was adorable. She found a buddy and they were warming up together chatting and then waiting for their next class together and talking. So cute!
I looked over while they were waiting for the flat class to start and saw part of the class all lined up. I thought they looked really neat so I had to take a picture.
As soon as she finished the show, we drove straight to the church for the bike-a-thon. I dropped her off just in time. They had just started their first lap and she ended up catching up with the group. They had a fire truck leading the pack with an ambulance following behind them. Ashton and Sawyer were already there and with the group. After the two laps on the bikes, they came back to the church for hot dogs, taco salad, chips punch and cookies.
My kids had so much fun riding their bikes in town. They had never done that before and so it was especially exciting for them. They were all cruising the church parking lot and sidewalk during lunch. Sawyer took time out to check out the firetruck. They had a good turnout and I hope they raised a lot of money.
