We've really been working on becoming more green as a family. We've been doing really well I think. One of my biggest challenges was to stop using paper towels. I'm a paper towel addict. Well, a week ago, we ran out and haven't bought any since. I found these great reusable wipes from Mr. Clean. They are thin, lint free, absorbent, and wash up well in the washing machine.
Ashton and Hadleigh each have a sandwich wrap that my cousin bought them. The company is wrap n mat. They are great and reusable.
Sawyer needed one for next year and I was also looking for wraps for their side items so I wouldn't have to use baggies or plastic containers. I watched Oprah this morning and they had snack taxi snack sacks on the program. I ordered 2 for each child and a sandwich sack for Sawyer. We don't use many baggies, but this will even cut that small usage down.
Oprah also had a company on called To-Go Ware and they had really neat reusable containers for lunch. I ordered each child 1 large side kick, 3 small side kicks, and the bamboo silverware pack.
Sigg water bottles had a coupon that was for 20% off for the Oprah show viewers. I ordered us each a water bottle. I've heard great things about these bottles.
I hope to keep getting greener as a family this year.
