I love how pretty the sky is when the sun is rising.  I thought the sky was beautiful this particular morning and I loved how the grain elevator in town stood out.  

I took this from my bathroom window, so it's not great. 

 

A few things on our farm that bring me happiness...

My favorite flower ever...

 

I just love how airy, delicate, and paper thin the petals are.  They are like fluffy balls of joy.

 

 

My 2nd favorite flower.  I can't get enough of the different varieties and colors of this beautiful flower. They just make me happy.

 

 

My favorite bird...the barn swallow

These sweet little babies would raise their heads every time my camera would focus and light up for a moment.

 

This sweet momma bird didn't mind me too much

 

 

 

These birds are so beautiful!  I'm so sad that the tornado ruined our barn and it has to come down.  I'm hoping next year when they return after winter, they will make their new home in the barn we moved.  It will hopefully have horses living in it by then as well.  I think they will be confused when they don't see the big barn though.  :(

 

Watching our garden grow...

 

 

I love it when the corn is this size.  It's such a pretty shade of green, and the damp dark dirt looks neat against it.  It grows so fast.
