We planned on getting a lot done on the house this summer. We thought we would get the porches built and most of the house painted. That didn't happen. The tornado hitting put us behind schedule because we had so much to clean up.
Jerry started last week on the next section of the house. This part will have a porch below it so we are just working on the upper half now. He took the clapboards down so we can strip and sand them on the ground. He's also putting housewrap up. He is spending hours stripping the eaves and trim boards at the roofline. It's amazing to see the transformations.
The finished back section. Jerry did this part late last fall. I can't wait to get the porches on and to see the finished project.
